Title: Downloads
Post by: Windgate on November 22, 2009, 08:40:19 PM
Here is a download of the first working version, nazis VS yankees, each team comes from a side and cross the battlefield killing the other one.

The AI works fine, and it is possible to change to a new "benchmark" stage by using N key, the benchmark stage creates thousands of troops (Soldiers, snipers, tanks, etc.) and I use it to check stability.

The cursor controls are ready for use on Wiz (Thanks to Osk and his Bennu manual).

Any suggestions wellcome ;)

EDIT: It is possible (On Windows) change screen resolution to view all Battlefield using F1, F2, F3 and F4 keys. Alt+Enter toggles fullscreen ON/OFF.

Good work so far ! Looks very promising ;) I hope is a strategy game :D

It is a very early version so probably you know all that already but I found however a little strange behavior on the demo, in my PC (I don't have the wiz to test it there), After N is pressed to make a new scenario, the cursor stay fixed  in the top left corner of the grid (i.e. the scroll is not working anymore) and then program start to slow down and becomes a little chunky.

Pressing N a second time, makes the screen to go black black.

Good luck !

It is fixed, key N kills all active processes, included the cursor and any others process like interface and doesn't work any more... It works right now on my most recent version, they are simply re-invoked on each new "stage".

Key N again calls a new stage that is not ready yet, so the program makes all dark :S

Key N is only a trick to run a hard test in which 1 unit of each team is summoned at each frame, CRAZY for Wiz... But i hope to make a PC version too :P

Im now working on new graphics (Not based on GBA ¬¬), so I freeze the project for a while...
