Hello,
so i have some problems with pixplantilla and it's getting more and more annoying... (Seriously)
So BennuGD games like Rubby Bird do not work on some Samsung Galaxy devices. (if not all)
Why ? Apparently, this has to do with libSDL2 and it provokes a native crash.
I heard everywhere Android support in SDL2 was still pretty hacky...
Was this solved ?
What about Josebagar's BennuGD fork ? Where can i find it ?
He said he was going to release the source code but with Explosive Dinosaurs being postponed,
i don't know what the hell is going on.

Panjeres, the last time i talked with you, you said that PixPlantilla was 'old'.

More and more users are complaining about Rubby Bird not working on their devices
and it's seriously getting on my nerves.

Maybe Panjeres can build up-to-date build of libSDL2 ?
On a personal note, your build of SDL2 is what preventing it from working on Android froyo.
Just sayin'.

Thanks

EDIT: This may be the reason why it doesn't work : https://forums.libsdl.org/viewtopic.php?t=8756&sid=f4db3be6016cd6bf0676e72d01c358f4
Which means that BennuGD may be the problem.
I need someone fix this though... Android SDKs are big.

Mmmm... I'm not sure, but it seems you're facing an old bug, related to the device's GPU.

Currently, Joseba is working slow but steady on the BennuGD's fork, and I'm not sure if a newer version would help you or even make it less compatible...

I would ask you to wait patiently, and more importantly: don't support froyo anymore. It's only the 0.3% of the users

This could be indeed related to the device's GPU.
If so, is there's no way to turn on software rendering ?
Thanks, i guess i'll have to wait...

Supporting froyo was just only a plus for me and 0.3% is indeed not a hell lot now.

Thanks
