What?
I did not undertand.

I wanted to say that the same example get differents results in 16 bits mode and 32 bits mode, when the correct is that the two modes get the same result.

If you are referring to the fact that the 32bit font looks smooth and the 16bit font doesn't: this is logical, because a 16bit font doesn't have an alpha transparency component. In 16bit and 8bit mode, to use anti-aliasing, you must know the background colour in advance, just like the 'old' days. With 32bit you don't, which is great.

Fuck... I am trying to compile any of your examples, but I have this errors while compiling:

1) libbgdrtm not found, but it fixes if I rename bgdrtm.dll to libbgdrtm  ???

2) Undefined procedure ttf_loadx ( )

I think it is cause I have an old version of mod_ttf, please, give me the updated link, my karma is still waiting... Hot and spicy... Like me.

Update:

I have found the updated mod_ttf on the wiki, OK!!!

But new error while compiling:

Assertion failed: code < string allocated && code >=0 file strings.c line 264
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I have seen THOUSANDS of errors while compiling on Bennu, but it is new... I feel like a virgin...

What version of Bennu are you running? And are you trying one of the examples or something else?
If I'm not mistaken, you are supposed to have a libbgdrtm.dll.

@DCelso:
The code I posted here shows that using write_in_map() it goes wrong. It is like the resulting graphic is not 32bit, but it in fact is, so I don't know...

I compiled it for my PPA and updated your package with the linux extension in the bin directory of your zipfile.

Hello, I changed several comments (to do earlier to BennuGD) and added several castings to make it more compatible with other compilers.
I linked it with the last version of freetype lib (freetype2.3.11), too.
And I did the codeblocks projects. (I attach it in this post)

Newer version is great, but I recommend you strip it before releasing. It takes away a LOT of the space. And perhaps you also built it in debug mode or something?

Good stuff. I think we need separate OS/architecture packages instead of all-in-one. "mod_ttf.win32.zip" for example.
