I suppose I can create a dutch translation... and maybe even a german one, although my german grammer is terrible.

I have quickly tested the map editor. I think it's a pretty nice feature.  :) But when I edit an 8 bit map, I would like to pick the colors from the image's palette instead of the standard windows color picker dialog. Maybe you could add a eyedropper command (color picker), so that I can select a drwaing color by clicking with the mouse on a pixel in the image.  Div has something like that too.

The export to map function produces a completely black bitmap when I choose Div map format in 8 bit mode. Png export works fine.

If I can find the time for it, I'll can help you improve the english translation for the tools. Are the .po files also for the map editor and fnt generator? And are there any restrictions on the length of the strings?

Thanks.

The tool that you need exist in last versions of fpg-editor, in spanish is "copiar color", this tool copy the selected color of the image (if you do left click you copy it to color pen, if you do right click you copy it to color fill)

You can use gamuts colors like DIV do. You can change palette colors and gamuts color doing left click while you hold control button.

There is not restritions, in translation, only the space that use windows to paint .

I recenly uploaded a new version with support to open/save fnt files like fpg file was.

I have installed Poedit and improved the english translation. It was pretty easy to do.  :) I have attached a 7z archive with my edits.
If you like, I can also make a dutch translation and possibly a german one too.

:O, very thanks.
Yes, if you can do those translations it will be fantastic. Thans.
I know poedit is fast but it havent got suggestions.
Try to use virtal instead of. It is more powerful.

Dutch and german translation are completed! I also did some small tweaks to the english translation. I don't know if there are any german speaking people on the forum here, maybe they can proofread the german translation as I did it by a combination of google translate, my highschool german lessons, intuition and using a dictonary.  It helps that I can receive german tv broadcasters in holland. I think the translation should be mostly correct.

Also, I have done some testing and have found some small issues:

- In the controlpoint editor, the option delete all controlpoints has a minor issue. The dialog will ask to remove
the controlpoints, and it shows two options: "No" and "Cancel". The option "No" should say "Yes" instead.

- The width of the text labels is too short for some languages like dutch and german. that has to do with the fact that
those languages use more words in a sentence to tell the message. (a typical dutch or german word or message is about
7% longer then the same message in english.

- Some window titles and buttons still have hardcoded spanish words / sentences, for instance the map editor,
under "general"-"tool". And the tool-word "Rellenar" is not translated yet.
Also applies to the compressor, the button says "comprimir fichero" and the window title still needs a translation string.

- In font generator, the under the "style" section, the style names are not translated yet.

I used poedit: http://www.poedit.net/ (http://www.poedit.net/) because I couldn't get Virtaal to work on windows xp. I tried to use version 0.70 and 0.71, but they both give me errors about msys and the translation toolkit.

DCelso, I updated the translations for your latest (r.81) version.
I noticed that the zlib bug is fixed. :) The program is becoming a pretty nice tool.

Thanks for all. I will put it in the next revision.
I know. I changed all hardcoded spanish strings that you said me here.
The new aspect is more similar to DIV. So I thing that is easier for people that know it.
I hope that it likes to all people.  ;).

In other hand. Dou you have a gmail account?

EDIT
emm i think there are many errors! in many case you translate "fuente" in source but fuente should be "source" or "FONT"depending on the circumstances
