What type of movement i must use?

FenixLand like
Jumping ramps

Hello, everyone:

Well, again, i've got some troubles with my symmetric brains. Today i've got almost complete the main engine of the game, but there is a feature that i liked.
First, try this game i made some time ago:
http://drumpi.se32.com/cosas/FenixLand.rar
http://www.fenixworld.com/e107_plugins//depot/files/fw75.fland_1.1.zip <--- use this if you can run previous file

Is the closest movement style to "Cave Story". But if you try this:
http://drumpi.se32.com/cosas/Doggy.rar

(If you want to try, when it runs, press F1 to go full-fps-speed, use cursors to walk, and Z to jump).
If you run towards a ramp, when it finished, Echo will make a little jump. It's a curious movement, useful in a Sonic engine, but not in this game.
So, i don't know if i must do one or another type of movement. What do you think?

NOTE: ignore walls issues, and others errors, it's not still finished.
Hala, como con 1001 procesos sólo va a 9 FPS, vamos a meterle 32 veces más, a ver si revienta.

I like this movement, the character is quite agile when jumping, and has a lot of mobility, in my opinion it goes well with the rest of moves.

But I think is just more a design choice than anything ^^  Think if this movement would be bad for the playability of your game, if it is  not bad, then it just matter if you like it or not ^^

Yes, i'm thinking to do it like FL, because it's a "Cave Story" style, and leave this to vehicles movement (maybe i can add a car or something else to the game).
So, i have this movement type perfectly made. I must correct some jump issues, but with this and adding 3 or 4 lines i will have all the engine, so i can start making levels and graphics.
